We are hiring a Robot Service Technician to support the production, maintenance, and repair of self-driving delivery robots. This role involves a variety of tasks including mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and fieldwork. Ideal candidates will have experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, a proactive mindset, and the ability to handle diverse responsibilities. 

 

• Assemble harnesses, cables, and connectors for self-driving delivery robots
• Install and replace sensors, including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the robot fleet
• Diagnose breakdowns, investigate incidents, and complete service campaigns
• Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, including suspensions and batteries
• Travel to local sites to provide onsite field support as needed
• Support rapid prototyping, testing, and inventory management
• Assist with R&D experiments and development of new projects

 

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, including measuring equipment
• Skilled in assembling and disassembling products
• Ability to install custom electronic modules
• Knowledge of working with AC/DC currents
• Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings
• Soldering skills is preferred
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR for the past 12 months
• Comfortable working in field environments
• CDL not required
