Job Overview

We are hiring a hands-on Robot Service Technician to support the production, maintenance, and repair of self-driving delivery robots in Miami, FL. This role focuses on mechanical and electrical assembly, diagnostics, troubleshooting, field support, and fleet maintenance for autonomous delivery robot operations.

This position is ideal for candidates with automotive, manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical technician experience who are comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments and supporting advanced robotic systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble harnesses, cables, connectors, and electronic components for self-driving delivery robots
• Install and replace sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and fleet service campaigns
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including batteries, suspension systems, and onboard hardware
• Support rapid prototyping, testing, and inventory management activities
• Travel between local sites to provide field support and onsite troubleshooting
• Assist with research and development testing activities
• Maintain detailed repair documentation and operational records
• Support shop organization, tooling, and operational readiness

 

Requirements

• Technician experience in automotive, manufacturing, robotics, or similar environments
• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools and measuring equipment
• Ability to assemble/disassemble products and install custom electronic modules
• Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings
• Experience working with AC/DC electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 12 months
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move items exceeding 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in field environments and operational settings

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive plants, dealership service departments, or fleet operations
• Soldering experience
• Advanced computer literacy
• Experience supporting robotics or autonomous systems
