Service Technician
Job Overview
We are hiring a Service Technician to support the maintenance and repair of an autonomous electric vehicle fleet. This role focuses on keeping vehicles operational through routine maintenance, light repairs, and field support.
This position is suited for automotive technicians with strong mechanical experience who are comfortable working on electric vehicles and supporting fleet operations in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess and document vehicle damage after road incidents
• Perform minor on-site repairs and coordinate major repairs with partner service centers
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections (brakes, fluids, AC, tires, etc.)
• Monitor vehicle condition and report issues before they escalate
• Support field operations including vehicle recovery and towing coordination
• Transport vehicles for service appointments, repairs, and operational needs
• Maintain fleet readiness, cleanliness, and shop organization
Requirements
• Prior experience as an automotive technician or similar mechanical role
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic tools
• Clean driving record and valid Texas driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Comfortable working around autonomous vehicle technology
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on electric vehicles
• Background in fleet, dealership, or production environments
Schedule
• Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
