Job Overview

We are hiring Robot Service Technicians to support the production, maintenance, and repair of self-driving delivery robots in Jersey City, NJ. This role focuses on mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting daily fleet operations.

This position is ideal for candidates with automotive, manufacturing, robotics, retrofit, or mechanical technician experience who are comfortable working hands-on in fast-paced operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble harnesses, cables, and connectors for self-driving delivery robots
• Install and replace sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on robot fleets
• Diagnose breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Test and repair components including suspensions and batteries
• Support field operations and travel locally for onsite support when needed
• Assist with rapid prototyping, testing, and inventory management
• Support research and development activities and testing initiatives

Requirements

• Experience with mechanical and electrical tools and measuring equipment
• Experience assembling and disassembling mechanical or electrical systems
• Ability to work with AC/DC systems and electronic modules
• Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR for the last 12 months
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in field environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive plants, dealership service, robotics, or manufacturing environments
• Soldering experience
• Retrofitting experience
• Advanced computer literacy
• Experience with prototype builds or testing environments

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
