Autonomous Vehicles Technician C
Job Overview
We are hiring Entry-Level EV Technicians to support maintenance and basic repair of electric and autonomous vehicles. This role focuses on building foundational experience across mechanical work, EV systems, and diagnostics in a structured shop environment.
This position is suited for candidates with basic automotive experience who are looking to grow into EV and autonomous vehicle systems through hands-on training and real-world work.
Key Responsibilities
Core Automotive Work
• Perform tire repair and replacement
• Complete preventive maintenance (filters, belts, basic service items)
• Perform brake service (pads, rotors)
• Replace fuses, bulbs, batteries, and other basic components
• Assist with suspension components and sensor-related work
EV & Safety Support
• Follow EV safety procedures including lockout/tagout and PPE use
• Assist with basic EV repairs under supervision
• Participate in high-voltage and low-voltage inspections
Diagnostics & Technology
• Use diagnostic tools for basic troubleshooting
• Assist with infotainment and display system repairs
• Support software updates and system checks
ADAS & System Exposure
• Gain exposure to sensors (cameras, radar, LiDAR)
• Assist with calibration and alignment processes
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of automotive technician experience
• At least 1 ASE certification (A1–A8 required)
• Interest in EV or hybrid vehicle systems
• Ability to follow procedures and safety standards
• Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
Preferred Qualifications
• ADAS or alignment training (in progress or completed)
• Exposure to EV systems or diagnostics
