Job Overview
We are hiring EV Technicians to support advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of electric and autonomous vehicle systems. This role focuses on high-voltage systems, software diagnostics, and ensuring vehicles are safe and ready for operation within a fleet environment.
This position is suited for technicians with hands-on EV experience who are comfortable working on high-voltage systems, performing diagnostics, and handling complex repairs across mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical & Vehicle Systems
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, suspension, steering, and driveline systems
- Troubleshoot NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) concerns
- Perform advanced mechanical repairs as required
Electrical & High-Voltage Systems
- Diagnose and repair low-voltage and high-voltage systems
- Perform high-voltage diagnostics including interlock loop troubleshooting
- Execute safety procedures including lockout/tagout and system isolation
- Replace high-voltage components such as onboard chargers and charge ports
- Perform harness repairs at the cable, connector, and component level
Diagnostics, Software & Firmware
- Perform diagnostics across vehicle control modules using OEM tools
- Troubleshoot software and firmware issues
- Perform firmware updates and validate system functionality
Calibrations & Integration
- Perform system calibrations following repairs or component replacement
- Support ADAS-related calibration processes
- Validate vehicle readiness through post-repair testing
Thermal & Cooling Systems
- Perform coolant service for EV thermal systems
- Diagnose and repair cooling system issues affecting batteries and HVAC
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of automotive service experience
- Minimum 2 years of hybrid or EV OEM experience
- At least 3 ASE certifications (A1–A8 required)
- ASE xEV Level 1 and Level 2 certifications required
- Experience with high-voltage diagnostics and module replacement
- Strong understanding of EV safety protocols and diagnostic processes
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to safety and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed

- Onsite role in Dallas, TX
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors depending on fleet needs
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
