Labeling Analyst
Job Overview
This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy quality assurance work, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in a data-driven, technical environment. You will work closely with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure labeling accuracy and continuous improvement of tooling and processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Review labeled datasets using internal and third-party tools to identify defects, missing labels, or inconsistencies
• Validate labeling accuracy against internal quality and annotation standards
• Update issue trackers, summarize findings, and write clear, structured reports
• File bugs and submit feature requests with accurate documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve labeling quality issues
• Act as a liaison between operational, infrastructure, and technical teams to ensure workflow alignment
• Support additional labeling-related tasks, including analytics generation and log selection
• Participate in defining tool requirements, executing testing, and creating user-facing documentation
Requirements
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
• Clear written communication and documentation skills
• Comfort working as an individual contributor in a structured QA environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow defined review processes
• Technical aptitude with the ability to communicate findings clearly
• Prior experience in QA, data review, or validation is helpful but not required
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in quality assurance, data labeling, or data review roles
• Familiarity with issue tracking or bug reporting systems
• Experience collaborating with technical or engineering teams
• Interest in autonomous vehicles, machine learning, or data-driven systems

Additional Details
• Hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, PA (2–3 days onsite per week)
