Job Overview

A leading autonomous mobility company seeks an experienced software engineer to build a robust platform for autonomous vehicles and robots. You will develop the foundational pipeline framework that orchestrates autopilot components, ensuring reliability, reproducibility, and determinism for offline quality evaluations and A/B testing. This onsite/hybrid role offers significant impact on product quality through best development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine technology teams’ needs, design, and implement the foundational framework for executing autopilot code.

• Write high-performance code and build infrastructure to monitor system performance, with a focus on safety.

• Ensure long-term data compatibility and algorithm reproducibility for reliable quality measurements.

• Build infrastructure to help developers detect and understand issues in their code.

• Set up and automate testing processes for autopilot code in repositories.

• Write well-designed, structured code and document solutions in design docs.

Requirements

• Strong experience in modern C++.

• Experience writing high-performance code.

• Strong problem-solving skills, including understanding problems, weighing trade-offs, and verifying implementation success.

• Experience designing complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Python for non-time-critical code.

• Experience writing Bazel rules and macros.
