Job Overview

We are hiring a Robot Service Technician to support the production, maintenance, and repair of autonomous delivery robots. This hands-on role includes mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and field support to keep robotic systems operating safely and efficiently.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in automotive, manufacturing, robotics, or mechanical repair who enjoy working with advanced technology in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble harnesses, cables, connectors, and robot components
  • Install and replace sensors, including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on autonomous delivery robots
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including suspension and battery components
  • Perform testing, repairs, and service campaigns on robot hardware
  • Travel locally to provide field support when needed
  • Assist with rapid prototyping, inventory management, and R&D projects
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and support fleet readiness

 

Requirements

  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, robotics, or mechanical technician roles
  • Experience using mechanical and electrical hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical components
  • Basic understanding of AC/DC electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working in both shop and field environments

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an automotive plant, dealership, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience installing custom electronic modules
  • Soldering experience
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Experience supporting robotics, autonomous vehicles, or prototype development
