Job Overview

Leading autonomous mobility company seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and develop advanced data annotation tools. The frontend engineers team creates state-of-the-art data annotation tools and works closely with backend services and external annotation providers to enable seamless 2D and 3D labeling workflows. The team embraces a collaborative environment where everyone contributes ideas to push performance, usability, and innovation in data-centric applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Build interactive, high-performance 2D and 3D data labeling applications using modern frontend technologies.

• Collaborate with product and data teams to ensure tools meet evolving annotation requirements.

• Work with third-party annotation services to ensure smooth data flows and user-friendly interfaces.

• Implement APIs and interfaces to seamlessly connect internal tools with external systems.

• Design intuitive, robust UI/UX for data labeling workflows.

• Optimize performance and usability to handle complex 3D scenes and large-scale datasets.

Requirements

• Demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript and React with experience building scalable, maintainable front-end applications.

• Possess expertise in Three.js or another 3D library with a strong background in 3D graphics programming for interactive data visualization.

• Exhibit strong collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have test automation experience with frameworks like Playwright or similar tools.

• Hold basic Python development skills for collaborating effectively with backend or data engineering teams.

• Possess AWS cloud infrastructure experience deploying and managing frontend applications in the cloud, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
