Fleet Support Specialist
Job Overview
In this role, you will support the scheduling, tracking, and operational health of an autonomous vehicle fleet by maintaining visibility into vehicle status, repairs, safety events, and performance metrics. Your work will help ensure smooth coordination between development, maintenance, and operations teams while supporting the transition from testing into scaled operations.

Key Responsibilities
Fleet Health & Scheduling
• Coordinate vehicle repair scheduling to optimize turnaround time
• Monitor open issues, fleet health status, and generate action plans
• Maintain accurate historical records of vehicle condition, repairs, and trends
• Submit vehicle move requests and coordinate service work across teams
Maintenance & Parts Coordination
• Order, track, and manage parts for scheduled and unscheduled repairs
• Support work order creation, maintenance tracking, and parts traceability
• Perform quality inspections on completed repairs to ensure compliance
• Support maintenance logging and upcoming service planning
Safety & Incident Response
• Participate in incident on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Support incident investigations, data collection, and near-miss reporting
• Conduct monthly shop safety inspections and report findings
• Partner with training teams to support safety-related initiatives
• Promote a strong safety-first culture across operations
Operations & Documentation
• Assist with creation and updates of technical documentation and processes
• Support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly fleet performance reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational bottlenecks
• Maintain situational awareness by working closely with technicians, engineers, and operations teams
• Manage calibration workflows and track progress through internal systems
Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced service, operations, or automotive environment
• Familiarity with automotive repair processes and maintenance fundamentals
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional team settings
• Proficiency with common productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, documentation tools)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in an automotive service or fleet operations environment
• Familiarity with issue tracking or documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Experience supporting maintenance workflows, parts coordination, or fleet reporting
• Comfort working in both office and shop environments

• Onsite role based in East Liberty, OH
• Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
