Job Overview

A leading autonomous mobility company seeks a Software Engineer to develop logging and data delivery systems for autonomous vehicles. You will build software that captures, encodes, and transmits large volumes of vehicle logs with high performance and reliability. This role supports fleet-wide observability, cloud storage optimization, and data platform architecture for faster development cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain logging software for autonomous driving systems.

• Build system services for secure and efficient data transmission from vehicles to the cloud.

• Develop backend services to control data delivery and processing workflows.

• Optimize data storage and processing pipelines in the cloud for terabyte-scale operations.

• Participate in data-platform architecture design and implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system-level software development.

• Proficiency in Linux-based systems, including x86 and embedded devices.

• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Go.

• Familiarity with distributed systems and data storage solutions.

• Experience with backend development and cloud services, with AWS as a plus.

• Solid understanding of large-scale data processing principles.

• Basic understanding of software system security principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux distribution management, particularly Ubuntu and NixOS.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD on GitHub, AWS, and Kubernetes.

• Willingness to engage in cross-functional tasks and learn new technologies.
