TeleOps Operator
Job Overview
In this role, you will support the safe and reliable operation of an autonomous vehicle fleet by providing real-time remote monitoring and intervention when needed. As a TeleOperations Operator, you will act as the human-in-the-loop, bridging autonomous driving systems with real-world scenarios that require judgment, decision-making, and calm execution.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong technical aptitude, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to remain composed under pressure while working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor a fleet of autonomous vehicles in real time and provide remote guidance when necessary
• Take control of vehicles in complex or safety-critical scenarios following strict protocols
• Ensure all actions comply with regulatory and company safety standards
• Assist with testing, data collection, and performance monitoring
• Report observations and operational metrics to support system improvements
• Work cross-functionally with software, QA, and UX teams to improve TeleOps tools and interfaces
• Follow established procedures to maintain high operational reliability and safety
Requirements
• 2–3 years of experience in operations or a fast-paced technical environment
• Strong computer skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Positive attitude with a growth mindset
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices
• Clean background with no criminal history
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience working in the autonomous vehicle industry
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Analytics, or a related field
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Basic experience with software or QA testing
• Basic understanding of data analysis and metrics
• Video gaming experience, especially in real-time decision-making environments
