About the Opportunity
NGV Talent is partnering with a leading vehicle mobility and automotive technology company that is developing and deploying advanced vehicle technologies, including autonomous driving, ADAS, vehicle software, simulation, and intelligent mobility solutions.
As the company continues to scale its Vehicle Operations organization, we are helping them identify a Learning Program Designer who will design and scale learning programs that prepare vehicle operators and operations teams to safely and effectively operate, test, maintain, and support a growing vehicle fleet.
This is a highly hands-on opportunity at the intersection of Learning & Development, Vehicle Operations, Engineering, and Technology.
You will work closely with Vehicle Operations leaders, engineers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to translate complex technical, operational, and safety requirements into practical, engaging, and measurable learning programs.
The ideal candidate is a strong learning designer who enjoys working in technical environments, can quickly learn complex operational domains, and approaches learning as a capability and performance problem—not simply a content-development exercise.
What You'll Do

Design and develop Vehicle Operations learning programs across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and foundational skills through advanced technical training, qualification, certification, and ongoing proficiency.

Partner with Vehicle Operations leaders, engineers, SMEs, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify capability gaps and define learning and proficiency requirements.

Translate complex technical, operational, and safety requirements into practical and engaging learning experiences.

Develop training using a variety of formats, including instructor-led training, e-learning, vehicle-based practice, simulations, scenarios, assessments, job aids, documentation, and performance support.

Apply adult learning principles, instructional design, learning science, and performance-based design to determine the right solution for each business need.

Build and maintain learning curricula, learning paths, facilitator guides, learner materials, assessments, job aids, and digital learning experiences.

Use tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, or similar authoring platforms to create high-quality digital learning experiences.

Leverage generative AI and emerging learning technologies to accelerate content development, personalize learning, and create scalable knowledge and performance-support solutions.

Collaborate with technical SMEs and engineering teams to ensure training content is accurate, current, and aligned with evolving vehicle technologies and operational procedures.

Develop and support technical certification, qualification, and proficiency programs where appropriate.

Measure learning effectiveness using learner feedback, assessment results, proficiency data, operational performance, and business outcomes.

Continuously improve training programs based on learner needs, operational requirements, and business performance.

Manage multiple learning projects simultaneously and drive deliverables from concept through implementation.
What We're Looking For
-
4+ years of experience in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, Technical Training, Learning Program Design, or Learning & Development.

Strong understanding of adult learning, instructional design, needs analysis, assessment, and performance-based learning.

Hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise, or similar learning-authoring tools.

Proven ability to translate complex business, technical, and operational requirements into structured learning solutions.

Experience developing learning across multiple formats, including LMS/LXP content, e-learning, documentation, presentations, video, instructor-led training, and hands-on learning.

Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to independently manage projects from concept through completion.

Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and SME partnership skills.

Comfortable working with technical teams, engineers, operators, and business stakeholders.

Strong curiosity and ability to quickly understand complex technical and operational environments.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to creating accurate, high-quality learning content.

Nice to Have

Experience working in autonomous vehicles, automotive, ADAS, robotics, mobility, manufacturing, logistics, or other technical environments.

Experience designing training for vehicle operators or safety-critical operations.

Familiarity with vehicle safety standards and operational procedures.

Experience developing technical certification, qualification, or proficiency programs.

Experience designing hands-on training, simulations, labs, or scenario-based learning.

Experience with Confluence, Google Workspace, LMS/LXP platforms, Ethena, Cornerstone, or similar learning technology ecosystems.

Experience using generative AI to improve learning design, content development, or knowledge management.

Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Product, Safety, or Technical teams.

Familiarity with operational metrics and performance-based learning measurement.
