TeleOps Operator
Job Overview
We are hiring TeleOperations Operators to support the monitoring and operation of autonomous vehicles in Las Vegas. This role serves as the human-in-the-loop for self-driving technology, helping vehicles navigate complex situations, supporting real-time operations, and contributing to the improvement of autonomous systems.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong technical aptitude, excellent situational awareness, strong computer skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor autonomous vehicle operations in real time
• Provide remote guidance to vehicles in complex or unusual situations
• Take control of vehicles when required while following strict safety protocols
• Support testing, validation, and data collection activities
• Gather observations and performance metrics to improve system performance
• Work closely with software, QA, UX, and operations teams
• Provide feedback on TeleOperations tools and workflows
• Respond to critical operational situations and support fleet performance
• Follow company procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and operational records
Requirements
• 2–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, technical support, dispatch, gaming, or another fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in cross-functional team environments
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and growth mindset
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
• Experience with Windows-based operating systems
• Ability to quickly learn software tools, keyboard shortcuts, and remote operations systems
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills in time-sensitive environments
• Must pass a Typing Test with a score of 35+ WPM
• Must successfully complete a TeleOperations scenario assessment during the interview process
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in the autonomous vehicle industry
• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with software testing, QA testing, or technical operations
• Familiarity with data analysis and performance metrics
• Experience with video games, simulators, or remote-control systems
• Experience supporting fleet operations or remote monitoring environments
Schedule
Training Schedule:
• New Hire Orientation: Tuesday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Training Period: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Training averages approximately 5 weeks
Available Shifts After Training:
• Tuesday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Tuesday – Saturday: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Sunday – Thursday: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
