Job Overview

We are hiring Vehicle Installation Technicians to support the installation, integration, and validation of advanced technology systems on vehicles. This role focuses on executing standardized installation procedures, mounting hardware, routing wiring, and ensuring vehicles are properly prepared for deployment.

This position is ideal for candidates with hardware assembly, mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, or installation experience who are comfortable working with tools, following technical instructions, and performing detail-oriented work.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Execute documented installation procedures and work instructions on assigned vehicles
• Mount, align, and secure hardware components according to engineering specifications
• Route wiring harnesses and connect electrical components while maintaining proper cable management
• Perform system power-up procedures and validate hardware functionality
• Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the installation process
• Document completed work and communicate issues to supervisors and engineering teams
• Follow standard operating procedures and established workflows
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement efforts
• Assist with vehicle preparation and deployment activities as needed

 

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with hardware assembly, installation, manufacturing, automotive, or mechanical work
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and assembly documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work around vehicles throughout the workday

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle upfitting, automotive assembly, manufacturing, or production environments
• Experience routing wiring harnesses and installing electrical components
• Experience following detailed assembly or installation procedures
• Familiarity with quality inspections and process documentation

 

Schedule

Training Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (approximately two weeks)

Available Shifts After Training:
• AM Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• PM Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
