Operations Associate

Job Overview

In this role, you will provide on-site operational support at a designated facility in Vienna, VA, helping ensure smooth customer experiences and vehicle readiness in a fast-paced environment.

This position is ideal for motivated, organized individuals who enjoy hands-on work, interacting with customers, and supporting daily vehicle operations. Candidates who are comfortable working around vehicles, moving between tasks, and maintaining service standards will be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return
• Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting inspections
• Manage and organize vehicle compliance documentation
• Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation
• Complete daily rental operations tasks accurately and efficiently
• Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and operational bugs to the designated point of contact
• Maintain service standards when interacting with drivers and customers
• Communicate clearly with on-site staff and remote support teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide concise operational updates

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, technical support, or similar)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues effectively
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable working around vehicles and outdoors as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working around vehicles or in car detailing
• Experience in outdoor or physically active roles
• Familiarity with the local Vienna, VA market
• Outgoing personality with the ability to engage customers confidently
