Job Overview

We are hiring a Service Technician to support the maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative service of robotic systems and electric bicycles. This role focuses on keeping fleet equipment operating at peak performance while working closely with senior technicians to develop advanced troubleshooting and repair skills.

This position is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude who have experience servicing vehicles, bicycles, robotics, or fleet equipment and are looking to grow their technical skills in a fast-paced operations environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on robotic systems and electric bicycles
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using established procedures
• Repair electrical systems, battery packs, control units, and hardware components
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize fleet uptime
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic documentation
• Document repair activities, diagnostic findings, and component failures
• Work alongside senior technicians to develop advanced troubleshooting skills
• Maintain accurate service records and support fleet readiness
• Follow safety procedures and shop best practices

 

Requirements

• 1+ year of service technician or mechanical repair experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass an MVR review
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to learn new systems and diagnostic procedures

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience servicing vehicles, bicycles, robotics, aircraft, or fleet equipment
• Experience with electric vehicles or electric bicycle systems
• Experience using JIRA, MaintainX, or similar service management platforms
• Experience working with electrical systems and battery-powered equipment

 

Schedule

• Initial training follows a temporary weekday schedule
• Permanent AM or PM shift assigned after training based on business needs
• Weekend availability required
• Shift changes are communicated at least two weeks in advance
