Job Overview

A leading autonomous mobility company seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build internal systems enhancing engineering productivity across QA, autonomy, ML, safety, and release teams. You will design tools like Simulator-as-a-Service for scenario reproduction and metrics calculation, plus optimized MLFlow forks handling millions of daily metrics. This role optimizes data navigation, problem investigation, and ad hoc analytics through scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement backend services for engineering productivity tools.

• Design efficient data storage using systems like S3, Postgres, ClickHouse, and Redis.

• Define infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate AWS cluster deployment and scaling.

• Collaborate with simulation engineers, analytics, and infrastructure teams for robust integration.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building backend services in production environments.

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.

• Understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, EKS), Postgres, and Terraform.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
